Use PST repair software when a process to open Outlook fails with an error

3. Enter Offitems.log or Outitems.log in the Named box. The default location of the file is drive ''C''. However, you may select the ‘Include subfolders’ checkbox to search in the respective subfolders as well.
4. Click ‘Find Now’.
5. After locating the file, right-click it and then select ‘Rename’. In case of ‘Offitems.log’ file, rename the file as ‘Offitems.old’. For ‘Outitems.log’, change the file name to ‘Outitems.old’.
6. Close the file.
7.Restart Microsoft Outlook.
